First there there 10 confirmed cases. 2 weeks later on 15 July 2016, there was 19 confirmed cases and 33 unconfirmed cases. The cases of pertussis have doubled over the course of 2 weeks.
Currently the infected and those suspected are closely monitored and treated. The Public Health Department are closely monitoring the situation and are controlling the outbreak of pertussis.
